Tono’s history goes back to the 30’s.  Recording took mainly place in Bisbebjerg Bio (Cinema). Tono is the main label, but numbering is in common with the sub-label Teener (from 1962).

The 42000 series (STU) consist of foreign recordings released through the Tono label, mostly Vogue, Amadeo and Barcley recordings.
